Delete your account, and everything in it.

GhostCopy · Last updated 24 September 2026

In the app

01

Open GhostCopy on your phone or computer, signed in to the account you want to delete.

02

On a phone, open Settings and tap Delete Account. On Windows or a Mac, open Settings, choose your account under Account, then Delete Account.

03

Confirm. If you signed in with Apple on an iPhone, iPad or Mac, you will also confirm with Apple, which lets us revoke GhostCopy’s access to your Apple ID.

What is deleted

Your account, your whole clipboard history, the devices linked to the account and their push tokens, and the cloud backup of your passphrase if you made one are deleted at once. Every file and image you sent is queued for removal from storage at the same moment and erased from it within minutes; if storage is briefly unreachable, the removal is retried until it succeeds. None of it can be undone.

What stays

Anything already on your own devices: text you pasted, files you saved, and clips a webhook or the Obsidian integration already delivered to a place you control. Database backups taken before the deletion are never used to restore it and expire on our database provider’s rolling schedule.

Without the app

Email support@ghostcopy.app from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We reply to confirm, then delete everything listed above. A guest account that was never signed in to is deleted automatically after 90 days without use.
